Geary Foundation Brings The Toby Project to Staten Island

Thanks to the financial support from the Bruce Geary Foundation, Staten Islanders have been provided with The Toby Project's mobile spay and neuter clinic on April 6th, April 27th and May 11th, 2013, spaying and neutering 76 cats, to address the growing population of abandoned and feral cats in the borough. Volunteers from Staten Island are now able to spay and neuter these cats at no cost, thanks to a collaborative partnership between the Toby Project and Ferals in Peril, Inc.

To date, The Toby Project has spayed or neutered 104,141 animals.

Left to breed and multiply unchecked, 104,141 dogs and cats can yield as many as 1,279,684,608 offspring in only 5 years.
