In the October 26 edition of the NEW YORK POST, columnist Julia Szabo quoted Dr. Andrew Kaplan on the benefits of spay and neuter in her article "Dog's Breast Friend: 'Cancer Vixen' and Vet Help People and Pups At Risk for Breast Cancer." At the DOGCATEMY CELEBRITY GALA on November 4 in NYC, Dr. Kaplan was also featured in a video presented by Ms. Szabo.

Toby Project founder Dr. Andrew Kaplan appeared on The Martha Stewart Show. He demonstrated how medical technology is being used in veterinary care as a preventative tool and spoke with Martha about The Toby Project and its inspiration, his dog Toby.
What is The Toby Project?
The Toby Project is a non-profit organization working to end the killing of thousands of adoptable dogs and cats each year in New York City's animal shelters. We are the only organization in NYC whose sole mission is to address pet overpopulation at its inception by preventing the births of unwanted dogs and cats. Our goal is to spay/neuter the very animals who would otherwise directly perpetuate a vicious cycle of unwanted birth and unnecessary death, and make NYC a true "no-kill' community.
